Portland Animal Clinic Pet Lodging Services

Boarding is an important service to our clients.  It allows them the peace of mind to enjoy themselves while away from home, knowing that their animal is lovingly cared for by knowledgeable people in a safe environment. As our Veterinary Assistants and techicians care for your pet while lodging.

No need to worry that the house sitter did not show up, that the dog is loose, whether the medication was given on schedule, or that no one noticed that your older pet just did not seem "like itself".

Our goal is to create a "Club Pet" atmosphere by giving your special family member the individualized attention it needs to make boarding a pleasant experience for all. Pets are housed in the comfort of climate-controlled stainless steel kennels which are cleaned and disinfected daily -- more often if needed. Dogs have access to our 8 x 25 foot indoor exercise area 2-3 times per day, while cats are given extra human attention throughout the day. Both cats and dogs may bring their special treats, toys, beds, and pillows with them to make their stay as homey as possible.

Current vaccination records are required. Vaccines can be updated by our veterinarian on staff when admitted if need be, and in special circumstances vaccines may be waived. Canine and feline reservations are preferred, especially around the holidays: 2-3 weeks in advance is recommended. Medication Administration is accommodated at the ownders discretion at a reasonable fee. Science Diet food is provided, or we can feed your food if desired. Your pet may be dropped off or picked up at any time during normal business hours. We do not charge for the day of drop-off, but we do charge for the day you pickup regardless of the time of day.

Cats: $13.00 

Dogs: 0-25 pounds $14.00 | 25-50 pounds $15.00 | 51-75 pounds $16.00 | 75 + pounds $18.00

Although the clinic is closed on Sundays, staff members are here to care for them. For an additional fee, special arrangements can be made for Sunday and Holiday pickups and drop-offs.

Before going home, we recommend a bath and brushout so your pet will come home looking and feeling great.
